Walk for Wishes 2014

On May 18, 2014 Team Kenadi took to the streets of Rapid City, SD to participate in the annual Walk for Wishes. This is a major annual fundraiser for The Make-A-Wish Foundation. The organization grants wishes made by children with life-threatening diagnoses. Those wishes, no matter how radical, can come true and change a child’s outlook on their life. Simply put: they matter. As a team that shares similar views, we wanted to take part in the fundraiser to raise awareness and walk in memory of our sweet Kenadi Jean. She was on the brink of getting her very own wish granted, A Rainbow Play System geared toward her specific needs and development. Although Kenadi was not able to see her wish come to fruition, we know that she would want to see other children getting their wishes granted, which is what our participation in the Walk for Wishes helps to do.
