Waterpark Pass

Carter was a classmate of Kenadi’s and the recipient of a family water park pass from the Spearfish Rec & Aquatic Center on June 1, 2014. Diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, Carter lives with the breaking down of normal communication between his nerves and muscles, which causes rapid muscular fatigue and weakness. This does not stop Carter from being a fighter or from wanting to have fun! Kenadi absolutely loved swimming at the SRAC and so our team only thought it appropriate to help another child feel that pure joy and freedom of getting to play alongside other children. Swimming will serve a dual purpose for Carter as well. The act of swimming can help children with Myasthenia Gravis because the exercise is good for building muscle. We hope Carter enjoyed his summer in the sun!
