2018 BHSU Kenadi Jean Basketball Night- Amanda Christensen, Scholarship Recipient

On Saturday, January 13, 2018 the Black Hills State University Yellow Jackets played Adams State for our Kenadi Jean ‘Hot Pink Out’ Basketball Night.

It was a fun night full of half-time entertainment honoring Kenadi, 50/50 ticket sales, amazing Silent Auction items, and a Frisbee free throw contest with a chance to win a big screen TV, sponsored by Professional Mapping & Surveying, LLC.

Howard was on hand to create green & gold Spirit Balloons and Foundation Volunteer, Carolyn shared her talent painting faces.

All proceeds from this event go towards the perpetual Kenadi Jean Memorial Scholarship awarded annually to a graduating BHSU student majoring in the Special Education program.

Our Kenadi Jean Weis Memorial Scholarship winner Amanda Christensen received her certificate from Steve Meeker, Vice President for University Advancement, along with Foundation Volunteers.
