2019 BHSU Kenadi Jean Basketball Night- Kendall O’Hara, Scholarship Recipient

On Saturday, January 26, 2019 the Black Hills State University Yellow Jackets took a homestand against the CSU Pueblo Thunder Wolves for our Kenadi Jean ‘Hot Pink Out’ Basketball Night.

It was a fun night full of face painting, balloon creations, half-time entertainment honoring Kenadi, 50/50 ticket sales, amazing Silent Auction items, and a Frisbee free throw contest with a chance to win a big screen TV, sponsored by Professional Mapping & Surveying, LLC.

All proceeds from this event go towards the perpetual Kenadi Jean Memorial Scholarship awarded annually to a graduating BHSU student majoring in the Special Education program.

Presenting this year’s recipient, Kendall O’Hara with her award is Miss Betty, along with Kenadi Jean Weis Foundation Volunteers and BHSU Professors.
