Gay Park Swing Seat Installation
On Monday night, March 18, 2019, the Kenadi Jean Weis Foundation had the opportunity to present our all-inclusive playground design concept to the Belle Fourche City Council.
We believe that all kids are created equal. That’s why we need play environments using inclusive playground equipment that allows children of all abilities to grow together.
The Kenadi Jean Weis Foundation purchased an Inclusive Swing that will provide greater stability for kids with limited upper body strength, allowing them to play alongside their able-bodied peers. The swing seat was installed at Gay Park in Belle Fourche, SD on April 19, 2019 for use by Easter weekend!
Inclusive playgrounds means inclusive communities and we sincerely thank the City of Belle Fourche for allowing us to be a part of it!
